1. Follow directions the first time given.
2. Raise your hand to ask a question, make a comment, or to leave your seat. 3. Keep hands, feet, and objects to self. 4. Be prepared for class with all necessary materials. 5. Respect yourself, others, and property. By following these basic rules, we feel that an optimum learning environment will be created where teachers can teach and students can learn. We appreciate you going over these rules with your children at home. |
All fifth grade teachers will be utilizing the discipline system as described below. Every student begins each week with an “E” in conduct. If a rule is broken, the student’s conduct will be lowered. The students’ conduct will be averaged.
Please see the list below for details on conduct grades: 1st mark - student goes to "G" 2nd mark - student goes to "S" 3rd mark - student goes to "N" 4th mark or more - student goes to "U" *PLEASE NOTE: For severe infractions (ex. Cursing, stealing, hitting/fighting, major safety rule broken, total disruption of the learning environment, etc.) student’s conduct grade may automatically be lowered. These infractions may require a written discipline referral from the office and consequences given by administration. |
